BEP 02 · Bayou Blue
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and stairwells, painted room by room so the house stays usable. Every job starts with a free written estimate at the property.
Interior · New OrleansWhat is included
At Big Easy Painters, we paint interiors across New Orleans and nine surrounding parish cities, from a single feature wall to a whole house. Preparation comes first, and the price is in writing before anything is opened.
Full rooms or a single feature wall, with the ceiling line cut in cleanly.
Frames, casings, baseboards and crown, brushed by hand where the finish shows.
The high work most homeowners would rather not reach, done with the right access.
Filling, sanding and patching, so a finish is not laid over a flaw that will show.
Bare plaster, patched areas and strong color changes are primed before the coat.
We talk through how a color reads in the room's own light before the first coat.
Why us
Because the price is agreed in writing before we start, the rooms stay usable, and the house is left clean.
Fully covered in Louisiana, on every interior job we take on.
Scope, preparation, product and price before we start. No verbal numbers.
We work room by room and agree each day which areas are in use.
Covered, moved where it needs moving, and put back.
Washing, filling and priming happen before the finish coat goes on.
Tape off, tools out, and the room left tidy when the last coat is on.
On the job
Covered floors, a room opened one at a time, and the cutting in done by hand. This is interior work in progress rather than a showroom.

Process
Four steps: you book a visit, we walk the rooms, you get a written estimate, then we paint and clean up. Nothing happens in your home without your knowing it is coming.
Call or send the form. We agree a time that works and confirm it beforehand.
We look at the actual surfaces room by room and talk through color and finish.
Scope, preparation, product and price, in writing. No verbal numbers.
We work to the agreed order, then uncover, tidy and hand the rooms back.

Questions
What a job costs, how long the rooms are out of use, and what happens to the furniture while we work.
It follows the number of rooms, the condition of the surfaces, how many coats the color change needs and whether repairs come first. We do not quote over the phone, because a number given without seeing the walls is a guess. The walk-through is free and the price comes back in writing.
It depends on the size of the job and how many coats go on. We set out the day by day order at the estimate, so you know which rooms are in use when, and we open one room at a time rather than the whole house.
In most homes, no. We cover and move furniture, protect the floors, and agree with you each day which areas are being worked on.
It depends on the room and the surface, which is why the written estimate names the products going on your walls. Bathrooms and kitchens are where the finish matters most.
Yes. Filling, sanding and patching are part of the preparation, and they appear in the written scope so you can see exactly what is included.
In almost every case we take it off first. Painting over wallpaper traps moisture behind it and the seams show through the finish.
Yes. Ceilings, trim, doors, baseboards and crown are all part of interior work, and you can have any of them on their own.
