Questions

Office Painting Questions Facilities Managers Ask

Working hours, odor, and how a floor stays usable while the painting is going on.

Can you paint outside office hours?

Yes. Evenings and weekends are normal on occupied floors, and the hours are written into the estimate so the cost is not a surprise later.

Will the smell affect the people still working?

It depends on the product, which is why the estimate names what is going on the walls. Low odor products exist for exactly this situation and we will say where they suit the job.

Do we have to move the furniture?

Tell us what you would rather we did. We can work around furniture, move and cover it, or take an area only once your team has cleared it.

How do you keep the floor usable?

By phasing. One area is prepared, painted and handed back before the next is opened, and walkways are kept clear at the end of every shift.

Can you match our brand colors?

Yes. Give us the color references at the site walk and we will confirm what can be mixed and how it will read under your lighting.

Do you paint ceilings and the grid as well?

Ceilings, bulkheads and the surfaces around the services, yes. What is included is listed in the scope so there is no argument about it later.

Are you insured for work in an occupied building?

Yes, we are licensed and insured in Louisiana, and we can provide the paperwork before the job starts rather than after.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. We walk the property, look at the actual surfaces, and put scope, preparation, product and price in writing, with no obligation to book.
